There are events in history where very pious scholars have been given the ability to see and gain assistance from jinns with no hidden agenda and with no demand from their side. As humans were once used as slaves by other human beings, some humans did it out of respect and for islamic reward (thawab), same as many pious jinns also like to serve pious jinns and human beings on matter of reward. This is a very important point to remember.
